Is Notorious doomed for commercial failure?

I was told by some PR guy that, if I posted this video plea, after the jump, by the producer and the director of the new Biggie Smalls movie, Notorious, he'd send me a free Notorious t-shirt. I guess they're concerned that not enough people will see Notorious opening weekend and it'll get pulled from theaters and their careers in Hollywood will be over. As far as I know, there's no such thing as the WB anymore. So I'm not sure what they'd end up doing. They usually don't bother releasing movies in January, if they think they've got strong commercial prospects, and I'm wondering if Notorious might be destined for commercial failure. ...

Notorious is in theatres TOMORROW…January 16th and the producers are asking you guys to support the film. So instead of buying that copy from the beauty shop on Saturday, GO TO THE THEATER to see this film. I saw it myself Monday night and I can personally vouch that this film is definitely worth paying for. <—and I am NOT being paid to say this ish either!
