Buckshot & KRS-One - "How Many MCs" x "Robot" (The Real D.O.A.) The Rock The Bells 2009 kick-off in Chicago definitely did not disappoint. From Slaughterhouse to M.O.P. to Busta Rhymes to Nas & Damien Marley, the bill was packed with so many dope artists it was hard to balance them all out and bounce between both stages. I only took minimal footage yesterday as I wasn't really working, but more just being a fan and checking out some of hip hop's greatest acts from all eras. Last year I hosted a great Rock The Bells giveaway. And after hosting the giveaway, I went to the Miami show, wrote a big review, and had a ball. I even randomly wound up meeting the ticket winner, who was so overjoyed to win that we took photos together on the lawn. It was a LOT of fun and I loved every second of it… but I noticed a few odd things. Event organization was kinda quirky, especially regarding backstage passes and meeting the artists.
